Modernized Georgian Edmonds

This existing home in Edmonds, WA was originally designed as a Georgian style estate and was in great need of a complete interior update. The owners came to H2D with goals for a full-gut remodel to reconfigure the three-story home to work for the needs of their family.  The new layout boasts an open floor plan with a large double height space at the main living areas. The new double height spaces was created by removing a section of the existing upper floor to create a large volume of space for the main floor living areas. The main floor also includes a playroom, guest suite, office, and outdoor kitchen with a pergola. The lower floor is designed with a new wine cellar, home gym, golf simulator/theatre room, recreation space, a second guest suite, and access to a new covered outdoor area. The upper floor was reconfigured to include two kids bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, laundry space with hidden laundry pass-through from the primary closet, and the primary suite with views of the Puget Sound.
