Innis Arden Remodel
The project for this young Innis Arden family began as a holistic design process for a three-phased whole house remodel. H2D and the clients worked together to come up with a plan for the whole house and then divided it into three phases based on budget feasibility and the ability to allow the family to live in the house during construction. Modern clean lines, open flowing floor plans, and a connection to the outdoors and view to the Puget Sound were driving forces for the vision of the project. Phase One, a full remodel of the daylight basement, included a new bathroom, guest bedroom, two offices with views to the Sound, an entertainment space, and a theater room. In addition, as part of Phase One, plumbing, electrical, hvac, and structural work were completed in preparation for the next phase to avoid disrupting the finished spaces during the later phases of construction.
